Mr. Deepak is a Prediabetic (HbA1c: 6.1) 40-year-old man with high uric acid levels and a history of 1 gout attack 3 years ago. He weighed 117.7 kg when he started the ProGen Method of weight loss. The main motivating factors to lose weight were to get his health back in place and also getting fit. Most of us think we should take steps to maintain a healthier lifestyle only when we hit 40 years of age, in case we have missed the bus when we were younger. But better late than never.

He had high levels of uric acid and cholesterol, and low levels of iron and vitamin D. Over the course of the Very Low-Calorie Ketogenic Diet in the first month, Mr.Ronald followed the diet very strictly. All his food, water, and supplement intake were monitored closely by our dietitian and doctor. He felt well on entering ketosis on the 3rd day. In a month, he lost 13.5 kg and the fat percentage reduction was from 38.9% to 35.5%. The biggest highlight was his reduction of visceral fat from 24% to 20% and an increase of muscle mass percentage from 58.4% to 61.2%. There was also a notable reduction in his cholesterol levels where his LDL CHOLESTEROL went down from 136 to 66 mg/dL and correspondingly his LDL/HDL ratio decreased from 4.7 to 2. His HbA1c reading also went down to 5.5%. He showed an increase in his Vitamin D and Iron levels which was quite healthy indeed.

Mr.Ronald’s inner and outer transformation has been credited to his strict efforts and commitment towards the ProGen Method. The Health Monitor report attached below is based on the Body Composition Analysis that we do in our center on February 28, 2021. We did a thorough analysis to understand what has contributed to his weight gain which stood at 117.7kgs. His fat mass contributed to 38.9 % of his body weight where the visceral fat levels stood at 24. If the level of visceral fat is above 13, it means that a person needs to consider immediate changes to their diet and lifestyle.

The Health Monitor Report below is based on the Body Composition Analysis that we did in our center on March 31, 2021. We did a thorough analysis to understand how his vitals changed in the course of the weight loss program. Between February 28th, 2021 to March 31st, 2021, Mr. Ronald lost 13.5 kgs (I.e in 1 month). His fat mass reduced and accounted for 35.5% % of his body weight where the visceral fat levels stood at 20, a significant drop. With the inclusion of the High Biological Value Protein products in the diet, his muscle mass percentage increased from 58.4% to 61.2%.

In the health monitor report, we see a progressive analysis from February 28th, 2021 to March 31st, 2021 which shows a significant drop in his body fat mass percentage including his visceral fat level. This has resulted in the BMI dropping but his important during weight loss is ensuring muscle mass preservation which he has not only achieved but seen an improvement which has led to a contribution in his body weight.
